Passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Parkview Meadows LTC in Townsend in his 80th year. Precious husband and best friend of Evelyn Worron-Adams. Predeceased by his parents - Alice Petch & Philip Adams. Jim leaves behind his three sons Jim & Heather of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, Wayne & (Lucy deceased) of Caledonia, Gary of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Two step-children Michelle & Vincent France. Five grandchildren, Tammy & Joseph Carr, Miranda and Mark Afrasiabi, Curtis & Sarah Adams, Cory & Sammy Adams, and Stephanie Adams. Eight Great-grandchildren Nicholas, Anna Marie & Nathan Carr; Dylan, Brody & Hailey Afrasiabi. Everett Adams & Kara Pearce and Jacob Adams. His sister Betty & Butch Schelter of Waterloo. Nieces, Tammy Brubaker, Cathy Connor, nephews, Mark & Craig Schelter. In-laws, Patricia Pryor, George & Carol Worron, John & Jackie Worron, Linda & (John deceased) Lindstead, Peter & Chris Worron and Cathy & Richard Tweedle, and many more nieces and nephews. Jim was retired from Dofasco and then drove truck for Lawry Shooting Sports and Slack Lumber. Jim was a devoted Cub Leader for many years, a former member and past president of the Blackheath-Binbrook Lions Club, the Golden Horseshoe Antique Society, and the Neighbourhood Watch program in the Blackheath area. Jim was a wonderful human being, with a great generosity and a gift for always thinking the best of everyone he met, his cup was always half FULL. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Visitation will take place in the MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia, on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9p.m. The Service will take place in the Blackheath United Church on Monday, June 10 at 11 a.m. Interment in Blackheath United Church Cemetery.
